On February 24th 2024, we had the pleasure to participate virtually at the first Joint Seminar of the SEG Student Chapters of Greece, taking place in Patra. This event brought together the UPatras SEG Student Chapter, the NKUA SEG Student Chapter, and the AUTh SEG Student Chapter, entitled ”The role of mineral exploration geologist: Best practices and key learning from the greek bauxite mining industry”.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed guest speakers: Dr. Panagiotis Zachariadis, Project Manager at IMERYS SA; Prof. Stefanos Kilias, Professor at NKUA and Academic Advisor of NKUA SEG SC; Prof. Vasilios Melfos, Professor at AUTh and Academic Advisor of AUTh SEG SC; and Prof. Stavros Kalaitzidis, Associate Professor and Academic Advisor of UPatras SEG SC.
